Grandmother emigrated by water before me. She lived at Raccoon Town abt 1/4 mi from Chattooga River. Grandmother died in west in 1839. Her place never valued - nearest neighbor was Te-seh-ne-hee or Feel-him. She was a widow for 7 yrs before emigr. Had 2 children, my mother & a son (he died w/o children) Mother d in this country. Father been dead some time. I lived with Grandmother till age 6-7 then with Mother. Mother died nr Ft Smith shortly after landing. Now live with Stinking Tobacco my sister's son. My sister had 2 children son & dau Che-yo-lo-skee) who lives with her brother (he is md).
