Personally came before me Darkey of the Cherokee nation East and solemnly affirmed that the foregoing statements of claims against the United States for property forced to abandoned by the authorities of the United States since the 23rd of May 1838 are just and true to the best of her knowledge & beliefs.

 

Affirmed to before me this the 25 day of August 1838
