To Kah-la-la-tah of Hickory Log Dis.

 

To 13 head of Hogs 6.00 each | 78.00

 

Claimant states that the above described hogs was stolen from him in the year 1835 claimant states he has never seen his hogs since they were stolen from him but he has good reason to believe they were taken by a white man a citizen of the United States

 

Personally came before me Kah-la-la-tah of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the above is a correct statement of claims against that United States for property stolen from him by whitemen citizens of the United States and the above account is just and true to the best of his knowledge and belief

 

Affirmed to before me this 7th day of September 1838

Personally came before me Jack Winn and Sparrow Hawk of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that they were well acquainted with claimants hogs and they seen two whitemen driving off claimants hogs said whitemen was citizens of the United States and they believe the above account is just and true to the best of their knowledge and belief

 

Affirmed to before me this 7th day of September 1838
