Personally came before me David Downing the claimant of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the alone is just account of property stolen from him by Elijah McMillan a white man citizen of the United States, the claimant states that the said Elijah McMillan stole all the above describe property from him in Hickory Log Dist, about the 1st of April 1838, he further aid, that all the above described prices are reasonable, and that never directly nor indirectly received the worth of one cent for the same

Personally alone before me Tah–lah-tee-skee and George Trah-ner-wah of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that they saw all the described property with possession of said Elijah McMillan in a day or two after the property was stolen and they knew it to be the same property alluded to above they further say that the above prices are reasonable and the claimant has had no pay for the same to the best of their knowledge and belief
