The first described bay mare was stolen in the 1824 claimant states that the mare was stolen by a whiteman by the name of John Herd claimant states they tracked(?) her mare to Herd’s house did not see her mare but was told by witnesses that Herd had her horses said Herd is a citizen of the United States. The next described bay horse was stolen in the year 1825 claimant states that her colt was taken out of her range and she has not seen it since but has good reason to believe it was stolen by whitemen citizens of the United States. The 7 head of cattle was stolen in the year 1829 claimant states that a whiteman came to her and stated that that a whiteman by the name of Phillip Colman had stole her cattle and killed them, claimant went to said Colman who acknowledged to claimant that he had killed her cattle said Phillip Colman is a citizen of the United States
Personally came before me Caty Downing of the Cherokee Nation east and solemnly affirmed that the foregoing is a correct statement of claims against the United States for property stolen from her by whitemen citizens of the United States and that the above account is correct and just to the best of her knowledge and belief

Personally came before me George Downing and William Proctor of the Cherokee Nation east and solemnly affirmed that they were well acquainted with claimant’s property and they believe all the foregoing described property was stolen by whitemen citizens of the United States and the foregoing account is just and true to the best of our knowledge and belief
