Personally came before me E-tah–quah or Bull of the Cherokee Nation East, and solemnly affirmed that the alone is a just account of property destroyed by Whiteman citizen of the United States, above twelve dollars due him by the same the claimant states that a Whiteman named Night came his house and pulled down his field fence and let in his stock of cows and hogs and caused the claimant to lose said amount of corn and fodder, done at Long Swamp Creek about one year ago, He further said that he never received any pay for the same, he also said that James Hill was justly indebted to him the sum of 12 dollar which he was forced to leave unsettled by the authorities of the United States, since the 23rd of May 1838 he further said the prices and amount are reasonable and that he has had no pay for the same

Personally came before me Te–quar-qua-ne of the Cherokee Nation east and solemnly affirmed that he saw the said Night let his stock in the claimant’s field, and he further said that they done all damage as described by the claimant and that it is correct, and that the claimant has had no pay for the same to the best of his knowledge & belief
