Claimant states that the three first described horses was stolen by a white man a citizen of the United States in 1828. Claimant states that the two horses was stolen by a white man citizen of the United States in 1829. Claimant states that she did not see any of her horses in the possession of any person but was informed so by respectable persons. Claimant states that she saw her cattle after they were stolen in the possession of a white man a citizen of the United States and that they were stolen from her in 1829. Claimant further states that the 88 head of hogs was stolen from her in 1829 by a white man citizen of the US also claimant says she saw her hogs in possession of the man that stole them after they was taken from her the next item is cover lids which claimant states that her cover lids was stolen by a man named Tatum in 1829. Claimant states that her blanket was stolen by the above named Tatum claimant states her pantaloons by the same white man 

 

Personally came before me Aly of the Cherokee Nation east and solemnly affirmed that the foregoing statement of claims against the United States for property stolen by white men citizens of the United States are just and true to the best of her knowledge and belief.

Personally came before me I-u-que and Rusty Belly of the Cherokee Nation east and solemnly affirmed that they was ever acquainted with claimant and her property and does know that claimant had the above described horses and cattle stolen from her together with the bed clothing by the said Tatum witness saw Tatum with the above described hogs cattle and said clothing and that they above statements are just and true to the best of his knowledge and belief 

 

Affirmed to before me 18th day of September 1838
