To Ailey of Hickory Log Dist. 

 

For 1 Cow and calf Estimated at | 20.00 

“ 2 Hogs Estimated at | 20.00 

Total | 40.00 

 

Personally came before me Ailey the claimant of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the foregoing in a just account of property stolen by a whiteman name not collected, a  citizen of the United States done in noon day Creek 4 years ago, claimant states she did not see the above described cows and hogs in the possession of said whiteman, but that she has good reasons to believe said white man stole them, that the prices are reasonable and that she has had no pay for said property 

 

Affirmed to before me the 12th of September 1838

Personally came before me Tah-noo-wah and Too-nah-nalah of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirm that they saw the above described cow and calf & 2 hogs in the possession of a white man name not collected 6 days after they had been taken they further state that they saw the claimant in a short time after they had been taken and told her she replyed that her cow & hogs had been stolen from her 6 days before they saw them in the possession of said white man, they further say that prices are reasonable and that claimant has had no pay for the same to their knowledge and belief 

 

Affirmed to before me 12th of Sept 1838
