The above describe two horses was stolen by James Kill a white man done on standing Peachtree about 17 years ago Claimant states she did not see the horses in the possession of said Kill but has good reasons for believing said Kill stole them. The next described $820 was stolen by a white man by the name of Alfred Reese done in Hickory Log Dist about 4 months ago claimant states when she was forced to leave her house by the United States troops in May last that the troops compelled her to go and she left her house exposed she states that when she left that the Reese was at her house she states that she was permitted to return the next day and she found her door nailed she states she broke open the door and found her trunk broke open and her money gone and has good reasons for believing said Reese done it.
