To 5 head of cattle 13.00 1 Counterfeit bill 5.00 Expenses in following stolen horses 24.00 | 97.00
The above described cattle was sold by claimant to whitemen for the amount charged in the account and paid whiteman ran off and did not pay claimant nor any past thereof said white men are citizens of the United States the [struck out: illegible] prices as charged in the amount received in pursuit of a horse stolen from claimant claimant and a whiteman by the name of Oliver followed claimants horse to South Carolina and there found the horse in possession of a citizen of the United States claimant got his horse and the expense accrued as above stated the above described counterfeit Bill was put on claimant by a white man by the name of John Tippen for good money Tippen is a citizen of the United States
Personally came before me Ticka-nes-kee of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the above is a correct statement of claims against the United States for money due him from citizens of the United States and the above account is just and true to the best of his knowledge & belief
