The United States Do  

To  Olkinny of Hickory Log Dist,  

 

For 9 Head of Hogs of at $5.00 pr Head | 45.00 

“ 1 cow at 10 | 10.00 

“ 2 Stack of fodder at 5.00 [?] stack | 10.00 

half stack of fodder | 2.00 

Total | 67.00 

 

Claimant states that the above mentioned 9 head of hogs was stolen from him in the year 1838 by a white man a citizen the United states by the name of John claimant further states that she her hogs with the said Whiteman possession after they were stolen from her the cowabove mentioned was also stolen by the same and Claimant saw her cow in the possession of the said white man after the was stolen from her, the fodder above mentioned was stolen by the same Whiteman a citizen of the U.S. claimant saw the  above named Whiteman take her fodder, all of the above was stolen from claimant in 1833 by the said John, and claimant has not received any pay for the same

 

Personally came before me Olkinny of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the above is a correct statement of claims against the United States for property stolen from Claimant by Whiteman citizen of the United states and the above account is correct and true to the best of his knowledge and belief

 

Affirmed to before me 21st of Sept 1838

Personally came before me Levi Joes & Wat-to of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly

affirmed that they were well acquitted with claimant’s property and have seen the forgoing described property in the possession of white man citizen of the U.S and foregoing is just and correct to the best of their knowledge & belief
