The United States Do 

To Sally Pritchett of Hickory Log Dist  

 

For 80 Heads of Hogs at 5.00 pr head | 400.00 

Total | 400 

 

Claimant states that her hogs were stolen from her by white man a citizen of the United States in 1835 the name of the white man not recollected, claimant further states, that she frequently saw her hogs in possession of the above mentioned Whiteman after they were stolen from her 

Personally came before me Sally Pritchett of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the above is a correct statement of claims against the United States, for property stolen by white man citizen of the United States and the above account is just and true to the best of theirknowledge and belief

 

Affirmed to before me this 25th of Sept, 1838

Personally came before me George Pritchett and Tau-cle of the Cherokee Nation East, and Solemnly affirmed that the forgoing is a correct statement of claim against the United States for property stolen by white man citizen of the United States, and the above account is just and true to the best of their knowledge and belief,
