Personally came before me Hawk and Sixkiller of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that Nelly Por the claimant did loose the above described property and that they have good reasons to believe that said described property was taken from said Nelly by whitemencitizens of the United States named Tatum Cochran and Cass as they the said Tatum Cochran and Cass did belong to a company of men who titled themselves the Pony Club and that said above named white man was seen in the settlement about where claimant lived and in a short time thereafter the before mentioned property of claimant’s was missing and could not be found and that the prices for said property is reasonable to the best of there knowledge and belief.
