To Isaac Swimmer of Hickory Log Dist

 

“ 5 head of cattle $12 each | 60.00

“ 19 DO “ hogs 5.00 | 95.00

Total | 155.00

 

The above described cattle was stlen in the year 1834 clamant states that shortly after his cattle was stolen he found them in possession of a whiteman by the name of McDaniels(?) a citizen of the United States claimant could not get his cattle neither has he received any compensation for said cattle. The hogs was stolen in the year 1834 claimant states that after his hogs was stolen he found them in the possession of a whiteman by the name of John Nix a citizen of the United States claimant demanded his hogs but could not get (illegible) and has not received any compensation (illegible) any of the above described property

 

Personally came before me Jack Swimmer of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affimedthat the above is a correct statement of claims against the United States for property stolen from him by white citizens of the United States and the above account is just and true to the best of his knowledge and belief

Personally came before me Nelson Stop and Kul-ke-las-kee of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that they was well acquainted with claimant’s property and they(?) have seen all of the above described property of claimant’s in possession of whitemen citizens of the United States and we belive the above account is just and true to the best of our knowledge and belief
