The above described bay horse and grey horse was stolen in the year 1826 claimant states that he has not seen his horses in possession of whiteman but heard they was stolen by a man of Blackstock a citizen of the United States. The next described horses was all stolen at the same time in the year 1827 Claimant states that he was about at the time his horses was stolen and has not seen them since but heard when he came home that they was stolen by a whiteman by the name of William Ratliff a citizen of the United States. The cows and calves was stolen in the year 1829 Claimant states that he has not seen his cows since they was stolen but has heard they stolen by a citizen of the United States The hogs was stolen in the year 1828 Claimant states he has not seen his hogs since they was stolen but heard they was stolen by a whiteman by the name of Thompson a citizen of the United States. Claimant states that he owed a whiteman by the name of John Bogiss The forgoing amount of money for goods and claimant further states that he paid off said Bogiss all the money he was indebted to him and claimant further states that some time after he had paid his account said Bogiss which account was unjust Bogiss is a citizen of the United States

Personally came before me James Downing of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the correct statement of claims against the United States for property stolen by whitemencitizens of the United States and the foregoing account is just and true to the best of his knowledge and belief.

Personally came before me Gallcatcher and Tu-ne-se of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that they was well acquainted with claiments property and they have seen all of the foregoing described property in possession of white citizens of the United States and the foregoing account is just and true to the best of their knowledge and belief
