For 1 black horse 5 years old estimated | 100.00

 

“ 1 black mare 4 years old | 90.00

“ 1 black stud 3 years at | 45.00

“ 1 grey horse 5 years old | 80.00

“ 1 grey mare 7 years old | 50.00

“ 1 grey mare 8 years old | 45.00

“ 8 head of cows | 90.00

Total | 500.00

 

Personally came before me Cealy Downing Senr the claimant of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the above is a just account of property stolen from her by white men citizens of the U.S. the claimant states that all the above described 6 horses was stolen by a white man named Green done above Van’s Ferry about 14 years ago, claimant states she did not see the horses in the possession of said Green but that she has reasons for believing said Green stole them. The 8 head of cows as described was stolen by the same said Green down at Vann’s Ferry about 9 years ago claimant states she saw the cows as described in the possession of said Green about one ear after they was stolen she further affirms that the above prices are reasonable and that she has had no pay for the same

Personally came before me Girl Catcher and Moses Downing of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that they was well acquainted with the claimant and know her property and also know that the above described 6 horses was stolen from the claimant at the time states and that they believe that the said Green stole them, they further the prices are reasonable and that the claimant has had no pay for the same, to the best of their knowledge and belief

Personally came before me Nelly Downing and Betsy of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that they was the above described 8 head of cows in the possession of said Green a whiteman one year after they had been stolen from claimant, they further say that the prices is reasonable and that the claimant has had no pay for said cows to the best of their knowledge and belief
