Personally came before me Lidia Downing the claimant of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that the above is a just account of property stolen from her by white men citizens of the United states the claimant states the first described gray horse was stolen by a white man name of Bull down at the Sixes Town about 5 years ago claimant states she did not see her horse in the possession of said Bull but she has good reasons to believe said Bull stole the horse the next described 20 head of cows was stolen by a white man name of Baker down at Standing Peach Tree about 16 years ago claimant states she saw her cows in the possession of said Baker not long after they was stolen the next described 20 head of cows was stolen by George Heard a white man done at Sixes Town about 4 years ago claimant said she did not see the cows in the possession of said Heard but has good reasons for believing said heard stole them the next 63 head of hogs was stolen by a white man named Langston done at Standing Peach Tree about 16 years ago claimant says she saw her hogs in the possession of said Langston shortly after they was stolen from her she further affirms that the above prices are reasonable and that she has had no pay for the same.

Personally came before me Thomas Wooddall a white man and solemnly affirmed that he saw the first described grey horse in the possession of said white man named Bull in a short time after it was stolen and knew the horse to be the same alluded to above he also saw the claimant and she said that the horse had been stolen from her but a few days before he saw said horse in the possession of said white man he further say that the price is reasonable and that the claimant has had no pay for the same to the best of his knowledge and belief

Personally came before me David Still and Lizzy Still of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed they saw the 20 cows as described in the possession of said Baker and know them to be the same alluded to above the same witnesses also affirm that the saw the 63 head of hogs as described in the possession of said Langston a white man and knew them to be the same alluded to above they further say that the prices are reasonable and that the claimant has had no pay for the same to the best of their knowledge and belief

Personally came before me Mush Stick of the Cherokee Nation East and solemnly affirmed that he saw the 20 head of cows as described in the possession of said George Heard a white man same day they stolen and knew them to be the same alluded to above he also the claimant and told her she replied that her cows was stolen and that she had reasons to believe said Heard stole them the same day he saw them in the possession of said Heard he further say that the prices are reasonable and that the claimant has had no pay for the same to the best of his knowledge and belief

Personally came before me William A. Few a white man and solemnly affirmed that the said George Heard drove a large number of the claimant’s cows of to the white settlements and when he returned witness told him that they was the property of Lidia Downing the claimant and he replied that he did not care who they belong to that he had sold them and would sell as many more in the same way. He further says that the prices are reasonable and that he is shure that the claimant has had no pay for the same to the best of his knowledge and belief
